In 1976, William L. Johnson founded Johnson International Industries, Inc. dba Continental Hardwood Co. in Seattle, Washington,
with the goal of providing exceptional lumber products and services to customers throughout the Western United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Johnson International
quickly expanded into the export business, shipping wood products and logs to customers across the Pacific Rim, and around the world.
Lisa M. Johnson, daughter of "Bill", began her career with the company in 1979. With the passing of Lisa's father in 1997, Lisa
continues to honor her father's legacy today by serving as the Chairman, C.E.O. and President of Johnson International Industries, Inc. dba
Continental Hardwood Co.
Our business operations in the United States include Johnson International Industries, Inc.
and Continental Hardwood Co. Additionally, we
have manufacturing and distribution facilities
in Kent, Washington and Portland, Oregon.
